Management and Administration of Safety and Health at Mines Regulations SI 1993/1897
These Regulations came into force on 1 October 1993 and apply to England, Scotland and Wales.
They make provision for the management of health and safety in mines.
Definitions
In the context of these Regulations:
"Firedamp" means any flammable mixture of gases, or any flammable gas, naturally occurring in a mine.
